The Vanuatu National Sport Commission (VNSC) is a Vanuatu Statutory Arm under the Ministry of Justice, Youth & Community Services. The Commission is seeking a very highly motivated and an experienced Senior Finance Officer. The position reports to the CEO and will efficiently carry out a range of Sport Commission’s important financial and administration functions, provide a high-level customer service to members of the public, Government Departments/Ministry, Agencies, Statutory Authorities and provide support to the Board of VNSC, CEO, VNSC Team and other officers within the Sport Sectors.

Skills/Experience Required: To be successful in the role, you will need:

1. 1. Backgrounds & Experiences in finance roles 2. Qualification attainments specified for the position would be highly considered 3. Experience within Government & Private institutions are highly regarded. 4. High level of interpersonal and communication skills with sound negotiation skills, including board, employees and customers, whilst maintaining confidentiality. 5. High level of professionalism is essential. 6. High level knowledge of and experience in interpreting awards and agreements. 7. Understanding of (or ability to obtain) Sport Commission’s structure, operation, policy and procedures 8. Sound knowledge of financial procedures and principles across areas of responsibility.
