The new Minister of Justice and Community Services received a warm welcome at the Ministry this morning.

The Member of Parliament for Ambae Constituency, the Honorable James Bule, was appointed by the Prime Minister earlier this week after the new government took office. The Acting Director General, Pacco Siri, first welcomed the Minister and his cabinet staff.

He assured Minister James Bule that his staff will help to properly accommodate the new cabinet staff and will also always be on hand to implement social policies.

Pacco Siri strongly reminded his staff that any government can come and go but it is always their duty to serve the government and the people.

In his response, Honorable Bule expressed his pleasure that all the staff of the Corporate Service Unit welcomed his team.

The Minister said that he used to be the Minister of Commerce and Trade and this is the first time he is holding the Ministry of Justice and Community Services while served as the Member of Parliament.

He stressed the importance of government service delivery for the entire country.

Honorable Minister Bule promised to advocate in the Council of Ministers and in Parliament for all projects of the Ministry of Justice and Community Services.
