    Consultation on the Standardization of Provincial Representation

    Pacific national anti-corruption leads look to joint approach in 20th year of UN convention

    The fight against corruption in the Pacific region takes centre stage last week as the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and the Pacific Islands Forum (PIFS) join forces to bring Pacific government anti-corruption focal persons together at the Pacific Pre-Conference of State Parties to the UN Convention against Corruption (UNCAC).

    International Humanitarian Day

    With less than 3 months until the beginning of the next cyclone season, the Vanuatu Ministry of Justice and Community Services (MJCS) aims to be disaster-ready.

    A Database System Project for Child Case Management

    The National Child Desk under the Ministry of Justice and Community Services has signed a contract agreement with Tobo Consultancy this week.

    The agreement will see Tobo Consultancy a local and registered company design a database system for Child Protection Officers to use in case management.

    Newly Lands Ombudsman Menzies Samuel appointed

    The newly appointed Lands Ombudsman Menzies Samuel is settle in well in the office.

    The Judiciary Service Commission appointed Mr Samuel in April and he signed the contract with the former Minister of Justice and Community Services, John Still Tariqetu on the 29th of June 2023.
