TANNA, TAFEA PROVINCE — The 2025 Public Service Day was officially closed by the Right Honourable Prime Minister and Minister responsible for the Public Service Commission (PSC), Hon. Jotham Napat, at a ceremony that marked the end of five days of national celebration in Lenakel Tanna.
Lenakel, Tanna — The Government of Vanuatu, through the Public Service Commission (PSC), successfully hosted the 2025 Public Service Day from 31st July to 4th August at Laminu Stadium, under the theme: “Strengthen Government Decentralized Services through Innovative Approach.”

With the 5th National Arts & Culture Festival just around the corner, the Minister of Arts and Culture, Hon. Job Sam Andy, led a government delegation to Tanna Island last week to inspect preparations across the island.

The President of the Malvatumauri National Council of Chiefs, Chief Merhimbadangdang Paul Robert Ravun, was on Tanna Island last week as part of ongoing preparations for the 5th National Arts & Culture Festival (NAF), which will be held from August 5 to 12, 2025.
The team mandated by the Government of Vanuatu to protect children across the country are reminding parents of their responsibilities this Children’s Day.
